Since Manchester City were charged by the Premier League for allegedly breaching their financial regulations 115 times from 2009 until 2018, there have been plenty of talking points.
Jamie Carragher disagreed with Gary Neville over Manchester City’s 115 charges by claiming that regardless of the final verdict, how Pep Guardiola is viewed should not alter whatsoever.
Jurgen Klopp praised Pep Guardiola by stating that regardless of the financial charges, only he could have dominated the way he has at Manchester City.
Klopp joked he would celebrate if Manchester City’s 115 charges were proven to be financial violations.
In September, La Liga president Javier Tebas discussed Manchester City’s 115 charges by urging the Premier League to punish them.
It was reported on Thursday that Pep Guardiola remains unaffected by the 115 charges and is instead focused on how hungry the players and the club are to continue to succeed.

Man City transfers not affected since 115 charges
So much so that Pep Guardiola could extend his contract at Manchester City, as per a report in January even if the club are found guilty and severely punished.
But in September, Aymeric Laporte disclosed he was informed about Manchester City’s 115 charges by the CEO Ferran Soriano and the sporting director Txiki Begiristain who reassured him and his teammates at the time that the club were innocent.
A report by The Athletic has also revealed that since the financial charges hit Manchester City, their transfer dealings have largely remained unaffected.
It has been claimed that in the cases of any of their new signings since the club was charged in February 2023, no clauses have been inserted in the event of City being relegated or punished if they were found guilty.
There has rarely been an instance where the charges have even been brought up in Manchester City’s transfer negotations.
The odd instance has occurred when agents have decided to bring the charges up, however.
But just as Laporte and his Manchester City teammates were informed at the club, the agent and his client in question are told that they need not worry at all.
Since being charged by the Premier League, Pep Guardiola’s side have signed Mateo Kovacic, Josko Gvardiol, Jeremy Doku, Matheus Nunes, Claudio Echeverri, Savinho and Ilkay Gundogan.
Real Madrid reportedly eye Rodri transfer amid 115 Man City charges
Last month, it was reported that Real Madrid would try to sign Rodri in the summer of 2025 as they are keeping a close eye on the case surrounding the Premier League winners.
It was also claimed that the former Villareal anchor fancies a return to his hometown, Madrid — despite being happy with life at the Etihad Stadium — with City hoping he extends his contract beyond 2027.
However, the report also stated that Real Madrid are monitoring the case as they feel they would unable to offer the wages Manchester City hand to Rodri and are uninterested in forking out the massive transfer fee they could be demanded to pay to sign him at this moment in time.
However, if City are found guilty, Los Blancos could exploit the club’s predicament and swoop in for the Spaniard’s signature.
As a result, while Manchester City have been operating as normal since they were charged by the Premier League, clubs like Real Madrid could circle like sharks and try to poach their players if they lose their much-publicised legal case.
In terms of signing players as well, the English juggernaut could be dealt a huge blow in the event of a loss in the courtroom.
