Manchester City fans will already be looking forward to the 2025/26 season after the campaign they have just witnessed.
The 2024/25 season was a tough one for everyone associated with the Premier League side as Pep Guardiola’s men fell way below expectations, finishing the campaign trophyless, while they also still needed to secure Champions League qualification heading into the final weekend of the season.
Man City will not want to experience this again, and Guardiola plans to add four or five new faces to his squad this summer. And over the next few weeks, fans of the Manchester club will receive some big announcements.
One thing City supporters will not be looking forward to is the official announcement of their 25/26 third jersey, as fans were left horrified after pictures of the kit were leaked this week.

Man City’s new 2025/26 third kit has been leaked
Man City have only officially launched their new home kit with Puma ahead of the 2025/26 season, which went down a treat with the supporters of the Manchester club, who loved the design of the white sash across the Premier League club’s sky blue colour.
Every other jersey for the new season has only been leaked, and this week, the design for City’s 25/26 third kit entered the public sphere.
Footy Headlines published pictures of the jersey, which has a silver-grey base with a graphic print mimicking rain droplets as its design.
Third kits are normally released around August/September, as City still need to launch their away jersey first before making this new grey shirt official.
Puma have gone very bold with this one, and it will cause some debate amongst fans, and going off the initial reaction, many supporters will not be rushing to the store to pick it up.

New third kit has not gone down well with Man City fans
Having laid eyes on the new leaked third kit for the first time, Man City fans had some interesting reactions to the design.
One Man City fan wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter): “It actually hurts me to look at it”
A second Man City supporter said: “This is terrible just go back to Nike”
A third fan of the Manchester club simply said about the new design: “This is ugly”.
Man City are expected to secure the signing of Tijjani Reijnders soon, and that is news that will make fans of the Manchester club happier very soon.
