Pundit Robbie Mustoe has urged fans to put Phil Foden in the same bracket as Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland, following his amazing performance for Manchester City against Manchester United.
Foden scored two second-half goals to turn the game on its head after Marcus Rashford opened the scoring for the visitors.
Erling Haaland then wrapped up the game in injury-time to give City three huge points at the Etihad.
Foden has been the talk of the town since the game, with Pep Guardiola hailing him as the best player in the Premier League so far this season.
Paul Merson reckons he now gets into any team in the world, and there does seem to be a general acceptance that he is now one of City’s top stars.
In the eyes of Mustoe, people need to now view him the same way as they do De Bruyne and Haaland…
Robbie Mustoe insists Phil Foden is now in ‘superstar’ territory at Manchester City just like De Bruyne and Haaland

Foden has been getting better and better for City and on Sunday, he produced potentially his finest performance of the season to date.
It was certainly his most influential and clutch performance, given City were trailing.
He stepped up, as he has done so often this term, in a way that you would expect De Bruyne or Haaland to.
Foden actually upstaged both of them on Sunday, and Mustoe believes it is now time that people include the England international n in the same bracket as them.
He said (NBC Sports): “He started on the wide right, he went to the wide left, scored goals from both sides. He can play as a 10, a false nine.
“I’ll say it again, Haaland, Kevin De Bruyne… Foden. Get it into everybody’s mind, that he is a superstar player we are seeing now him flourishing and developing into an incredible footballer.”
The goal for Foden now is to sustain this level
There is no denying that Foden is an incredible, world-class footballer now.
What he has done this season at City is nothing short of remarkable, coming in clutch so many times and stepping up in the absence of key players.
He is currently on the same level as De Bruyne and Haaland – how can he not be, given how decisive he has been and how many goal contributions he’s made?
The main thing now for him is obviously to sustain this level for as long as possible.
De Bruyne has been a world-class operator for many years, and Haaland has probably been a world-class striker pretty much since he came onto the scene as a teenager.
City fans will have no doubts he can keep a world-class level now for years to come.
