It has been reported that Matheus Nunes is currently in Manchester to undergo his medical before he signs for Manchester City.

This comes from Fabrizio Romano, who attached his signature ‘Here We Go’ catchphrase to announce that a deal worth £47 million is all but done.

Now, Matheus Nunes looks set to undergo his medical before he officially becomes a Manchester City player.

Furthermore, the treble-winners are exchanging and checking all the documents in the deal in order to ensure the move is finalised ‘in the next [few] hours.’

Matheus Nunes could become a superstar under Pep Guardiola

With Matheus Nunes set to undergo a medical with Manchester City, a majority of the club’s fanbase are set to be over the moon about this revelation.

But perhaps what is even more exciting is Nunes’ potential, especially considering Guardiola famously referred to him as ‘one of the best players in the world’ (via Manchester Evening News) at Sporting CP.
