Jude Bellingham approved of Jamie Carragher picking John Stones in his EA FC 24 Team of the Year.
The 20-year-old said he particularly liked Carragher’s side as he opted for Stones at centre-back on CBS Sports (via YouTube).
Jude Bellingham was tasked with the responsibility of picking which duo picked the better team: Jamie Carragher and Kate Abdo or Micah Richards and Alex Scott.
During the same video, the Real Madrid midfielder hailed another Manchester City player in Ederson Moraes as a “top goalie.”

Jamie Carragher lauded John Stones, hailing him as “unique” in the same vein as Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold.
The Liverpool legend partnered the English centre-back at the back with Bayern Munich colossus, Kim Min-jae in his side.
When Jamie Carragher selected Manchester City defender John Stones in his XI on CBS Sports, Jude Bellingham replied, “Yeah, decent. I like the Stonesy [John Stones] pick. I am swaying towards Jamie’s [Carragher] team a bit at the minute.”

Having played alongside the 29-year-old for England, Bellingham seemingly needs no introduction when it comes to the £47.5 million (Sky Sports) man’s revered skillset.
John Stones deserves to be in the Team of The Year
Jude Bellingham is justified in being a fan of John Stones being picked in the Team of The Year, considering he was one of the standout performers across world football in 2023.
It was during the second half of last season when Manchester City turned up the heat and Stones played a pivotal role in their revival.
The five-time Premier League winner started 20 games for City from the start of last January and went on to win a historic treble.
In the Champions League final against Inter Milan in particular, Stones put in one of the finest displays a defender has in recent memory.
As a result, Jude Bellingham was fair to be buzzing for his international teammate to be getting such recognition.
