Real Madrid superstar Jude Bellingham lauded Manchester City No.1 Ederson Moraes.
The Englishman praised Ederson after Jamie Carragher seemed to jokingly claim that he is “not good enough” on CBS Sports (via their YouTube channel).
Considering the Manchester City shotstopper is one of the best in the world in his position, such an opinion seemed bizarre, even if said in jest.
Jude Bellingham hails “top goalie” Ederson Moraes
Recently, Danny Murphy hailed the £34.7 million (Guardian) man as the best goalkeeper he has ever seen on the ball.
Meanwhile, Heurelho Gomes believes that the treble-winner should start over Alisson Becker for Brazil.
Jude Bellingham also clearly rates Ederson very highly, as he revealed on CBS Sports.
As the CBS Sports panel were picking their EA FC 24 Team of the Year, Micah Richards selected Jamie Carragher’s dream pick in goal, Alisson Becker.

“I’ll go [Mike] Maignan”, Carragher said.
Kate Abdo replied, “I thought you were going to go [for] Ederson just to get revenge.”
Carragher jokingly said, “No, he’s not good enough!”
Looking at Bellingham’s shocked expression, the Liverpool legend noted, “Jude doesn’t like that!”
Jude Bellingham backed Ederson, saying, “Top goalie. Top, top.”
Those who play with or against Ederson must realise how special he is
Having witnessed Ederson make an outstanding save in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final to stop Aurelien Tchouameni’s last-gasp rasping volley and break Real Madrid’s press with his distribution, Jude Bellingham amongst many would have admired his displays.
Often, fans and pundits tend to hone in on a player’s faults and the Brazilian international is no different.
But over the years, Ederson has solidified his claim as one of, if not the best modern-day goalkeepers in European football.
In October, Bernardo Silva also said that the Sky Blues No.1’s incredible last-minute save to keep Inter Milan at bay is a moment that will be remembered by the club “forever.”
Ederson need not worry about any sceptics as it seems like the best of the best hold him in high regard.
