Manchester City are facing competition for highly-rated French youngster Leny Yoro from Paris Saint-Germain.
It was claimed over Christmas that City actually held talks with Lille over a possible deal for the exciting 18-year-old, with Manchester United also showing interest.
Lille were said to be determined to keep hold of Yoro.
But the youngster has really been impressing this season and is now a very coveted young player.
City and United have now been joined in the race by PSG – and it is being reported that Yoro is being pushed in their direction by the super agent Jorge Mendes.
Manchester City face serious competition from Paris Saint-Germain for Leny Yoro

Foot Mercato have reported this morning that Yoro has now emerged as a target for PSG.
Such a transfer link was perhaps inevitable, with PSG the biggest club in France and a huge draw for young French players.
The publication claims that PSG are ‘more interested than ever’ in signing Yoro, who is described as being the ‘revelation of the season’ for Lille.
PSG’s sporting director Luis Campos – formerly of Lille – has made the starlet a priority, with a meeting about the player set to take place this week.
It is said that there is a lot to discuss, but PSG would be keen to snap him up in this window and they have made that clear to the player.
PSG are said to be willing to make room for him so that he can get a decent level of minutes and continue his development, and it is also stated that Jorge Mendes – who is one of the most renowned agents in the game – is pushing for a move to the Parc des Princes for the player.
A tough ask to sign Yoro
So it sounds as though PSG are seriously keen to sign Yoro – who is said to have a £78 million asking price – and it is going to be hard for City to win any transfer race.
Ultimately, PSG are a top draw for young players in France, a bit like Bayern Munich are for young German players and Real Madrid and Barcelona are for Spanish talents.
City are obviously a huge and successful club, but it will still be a tough ask to win the race for Yoro.
We will see what transpires with this, but City are surely on the back foot.
That said, it is rare for City to have regrets over missing out on players, with the club bringing in alternatives that go on to become successes at the Etihad Stadium.
