Manchester City blew away Real Madrid last night to book their place in the Champions League final – and Kyle Walker put in an astonishingly good performance.
Pep Guardiola’s side turned in arguably their best performance of the season, beating the Spanish giants 4-0 at the Etihad Stadium.
It was an incredible display, and one that perhaps even surprised Pep himself.

City were far superior to Madrid in every sense.
They knocked the ball around quickly and accurately, and worked tirelessly when out of possession.
It was amazing, and all the players that featured last night are coming in for high praise from supporters.
One man who was probably at least in the top three of City players last night performance-wise was full-back Kyle Walker.
Walker has been coming in for a lot of praise lately for the way he has stepped up.
Danny Murphy said recently that he may be England’s greatest-ever full-back. And Gary Neville then said that he does things that he himself could never have done.
Walker was sensational last night as he completely locked down Real’s biggest threat in Vinicius Jr.

There was a moment in the first-half where the Brazilian looked to be in on goal. But Walker’s searing pace saw him get back in and muscle Vinicius off the ball to avert the danger.
Former Arsenal striker Ian Wright couldn’t believe his eyes, and joked on Twitter that Walker might actually be getting quicker.
City fans are loving Walker right now.
And journalist Sam Lee reported last night that there was a new chant for him. He said during the game: “City fans singing ‘There’s only one Kyle Walker’, which I think is a first, and a very deserved outing.”
Kyle Walker is sensational and more than deserves to have a regular chant at Manchester City
This was an incredible performance from Walker – perhaps his best in a City shirt.
Given the stakes and the opponent he was up against in Vinicius, it was remarkable to see the display he put in.
He hardly put a foot wrong and should be extremely proud.

It has taken some time. But it is starting to feel as though Walker is now getting the recognition he deserves.
He is an outstanding player. And to see that fans were chanting for him last night is fantastic. Hopefully this becomes a regular things now.
