Manchester City fans have praised another one of their players who, like Erling Haaland, shone for his country on Tuesday night.
Haaland was unplayable for Norway in their World Cup qualifier Moldova, bagging five goals and two assists in a frankly staggering 11-1 win.
However, he was not the only Manchester City player to impress for his country over the past few days.
For instance, Jeremy Doku scored a brace for Belgium against Kazakhstan, which proved the perfect antidote to his fruitless display against Liechtenstein.
Bernardo Silva has also looked good in recent weeks, and he delivered more of the same with some big contributions in Portugal’s win over Hungary.

Fans praise Bernardo Silva after Portugal efforts vs Hungary
Silva played the full 90 minutes for Portugal in Tuesday night’s World Cup qualifier in Budapest, and produced one goal and one assist.
The £43million man showed quick reflexes to latch onto a ball in the box and hammer home from close range in the 36th minute.
Silva’s goal was crucial as it restored parity for Portugal after going 1-0 down from Barbanas Varga’s 21st-minute opener.
One City fan wrote on X that “he’s been good this season I can’t lie”, while another described him as “the magician”.
Another fan said: “Wooo Bernardo Silva is a genius!”
The praise – and calls for a similar display against Man United – kept coming, with one fan writing: “We’ll need that energy against United.”
Another supporter said: “Joao Neves and Bernardo Silva are the players that every coach on earth wants in his team.
“They are both technical, good coordination with the ball, smart movements off it, put in too much effort out of possession, run back and forth, aggressive and intelligent in their defensive actions.”
Another fan said: “That is a brilliant goal from Bernardo Silva.”
Silva also repaid Joao Cancelo’s assist by setting the former Man City man up for his all-important 86th-minute winner.

Bernardo Silva hoping to have big season for Manchester City
Silva has been a revelation for City over the years, but his poor form for much of last season has led to criticism.
For instance, Troy Deeney recently claimed City should offload Silva at the next available opportunity.
However, Silva’s form has improved in recent months – he looked good at the Club World Cup and has taken this form into the new season.
Pep Guardiola clearly rates Silva highly, having made him captain.
And besides, the Portuguese star’s contract expires next season, so he could well be looking to end his time at City on a high.
