The French international showed Pep Guardiola he has a strike on him by rifling the ball onto the crossbar and into the back of the net in training.
Cherki revealed he spoke to Guardiola recently, who assured him that he can play freely as the pair seem to have struck a bond — with the Manchester City boss shaking the youngster’s hand and embracing him after his wonderful goal.
