Journalist Alan Nixon has revealed that Manchester City are interested in signing one of Ousmane Dembele’s French teammates.
In the summer of 2025, Pep Guardiola’s men have already signed a French international in Rayan Cherki.
It seems like the Sky Blues have their sights set on signing several French stars, with Bradley Barcola catching Manchester City’s eye as well.
Manchester City News also revealed that Pep Guardiola’s side were eyeing Kiliann Sildillia before he eventually signed for PSV Eindhoven.
Man City target Michael Olise eyes Real Madrid move
Manchester City were reportedly interested in signing Michael Olise before he made a move to Bayern Munich.
However, Guardiola told Manchester City not to sign Olise in 2023 as he could not guarantee the former Crystal Palace winger playing time. A fresh update has emerged about their interest in the Bundesliga winner.
Journalist Alan Nixon has reported via Patreon that both Manchester City and Liverpool are keen on signing Olise.
However, the bad news for both English clubs is that the 23-year-old is believed to be “done” with playing Premier League football after his time at Crystal Palace.
Eberechi Eze called Olise a “top player” and now that he has become one of the best wingers in Europe, sources close to the player have revealed that his ideal next move is to arguably join the biggest club in the world in Real Madrid.

Currently, City’s options on the right flank are Savinho and Oscar Bobb.
GRV Media’s transfer expert Graeme Bailey revealed that Manchester City do not wish to sell Savinho even if Tottenham try to sign him in January.
However, regardless of the Brazilian’s future, the former Troyes winger has to prove that he is a potentially world-class player to merit staying at the Etihad Stadium beyond this season.
With Olise seemingly opting for Real Madrid as his next destination, Manchester City should make a move for Barcola — who already has three goals and two assists this season.

With Jeremy Doku getting better and better, the prospect of the Belgian and Barcola playing for the same Manchester City side would justifiably frighten opposition defences across Europe.
