The goalkeeper situation at Manchester City looks like it will dominate the remainder of the summer transfer window.
It looked like Pep Guardiola was done signing players ahead of the upcoming season, but Tottenham’s interest in Savinho and Galatasaray’s pursuit of Ederson have forced the Manchester club back into the market.
Both deals are currently being worked on, and if the duo depart the Etihad Stadium, two big names have been linked to replacing them in Guardiola’s squad.
Man City have a strong interest in Gianluigi Donnarumma, and with the Italian set to leave PSG before the transfer window shuts, it has become clear when the Premier League club feel they could sign the 26-year-old.

Man City think they can get Gianluigi Donnarumma cheaper
Man City signing Donnarumma depends on the future of Ederson, who is closing in on a move to Galatasaray.
According to ESPN, City want between £13m and £15m for the Brazilian, with talks currently ongoing to try and reach an agreement between the two clubs over the transfer fee.
Once this is done, the Manchester club can move for Donnarumma, with the Premier League giants having already enquired about the financial details of a deal for the 26-year-old.
The report states that the Italian star is asking for a salary of around £250,000-a-week. PSG are also asking for a fee of between £25m and £35m; however, Man City have a feeling that these demands could drop the closer it gets to the transfer deadline.
This is when City can now be expected to sign Donnarumma, as the former AC Milan star does not have many other options.

Gianluigi Donnarumma is pricing himself out of a move
One of the main reasons Donnarumma is leaving PSG is due to the salary he demanded when negotiating a new contract at the Parc des Princes, as the Ligue 1 champions were not willing to match the £13m per year he requested.
Man City are also unlikely to match this number, as that is £150k-a-week more than Ederson is currently earning at the Etihad Stadium, according to Capology.
If the Premier League giants were to pay the Italian goalkeeper the salary he is requesting, that would make the 26-year-old the fifth-highest earner at the Manchester club.
This is a lot of money to be paying a goalkeeper, and if Donnarumma wants a move to Man City, he will need to lower his demands, or else he will get the same outcome in negotiations as he did with PSG.
