Manchester City ace Bernardo Silva will ‘almost certainly’ sign for PSG this summer, with Barcelona unable to compete with the French giants’ financial muscle.
The Portugal international’s future remains the subject of intense speculation.
It has been reported that he is keen to leave this summer.
Bernardo has apparently wanted out of City for the past couple of summers and it’s thought that is due to not being entirely happy living in Manchester.
Potentially, he could finally go in the next window.
And interest has obviously been high, in one of the best players in the world.
Barcelona have long been keen. But a new report has suggested that it will be PSG who will sign Bernardo this summer.
Bernardo Silva almost certain to join PSG over Barcelona this summer
According to SPORT, Bernardo is still wanted by Barca.
But the Catalan giants see his signing as very complicated.
Like last summer, they could only really sign him if they sold Frenkie de Jong.

It is stated that PSG will ‘almost certainly’ be Bernardo’s next destination, with Barca simply unable to compete with them. They cannot match what PSG will bid and what PSG will offer the player in terms of a financial package.
Barcelona’s financial struggles have been well documented in recent times. And so this information should not come as too much of a surprise.
He’s a player Xavi has admitted he’d love to sign. But a move to France now seems most likely.
Bernardo Silva to PSG feels very likely this summer, but Manchester City must get fair compensation
It has been reported that the Champions League final may well be Bernardo’s final game in City colours.
That is a pretty awful thing to consider, but hopefully it will be the right result if it is.
Bernardo has been a sensational player for the club since his arrival in 2017 from AS Monaco.
The 28-year-old became a real fan favourite very soon after joining for his incredible technical ability and work-rate.

Without any doubt, he’s right up there as one of the best players City have signed since the 2008 takeover. Kevin De Bruyne hailed him recently, branding him ‘so smart’.
It would be a massive shame to see him go. But he’d go with the blessing of many City fans for his service.
And it would be no surprise if he did join PSG. They are losing Lionel Messi and need an outstanding technician to replace him. Bernardo is that man, and hopefully City will sell him for a really good fee that reflects his status as a world-class player.
