Manchester City attacker Julian Alvarez reportedly does not plan to leave the Etihad Stadium this summer.
The Argentine has just finished a fantastic first campaign with the club that has culminated in him winning the Treble.

And not only did Alvarez win the Treble with City, he also won the World Cup with Argentina.
It has been a remarkable debut campaign, in which he scored 17 goals and made five assists for the Citizens.
Those are very respectable numbers considering he’s had Erling Haaland ahead of him.
Everyone can see that Alvarez has huge potential. And other clubs can also see that.
Indeed, recently Bayern Munich expressed interest in the player. But it looks as though City will not be losing Alvarez this summer.
Julian Alvarez wants to stay at Manchester City and the club don’t want to sell
According to journalist Cesar Luis Merlo, Alvarez has absolutely no intention of leaving City this summer.
And he adds that City simply do not want to sell the player.
He adds that the only way in which something happens is if another giant club presents a big offer. But for now, there is no sign of such an offer.
Realistically, Alvarez would cost other clubs an absolute fortune now.
He arrived at the Etihad for just £14 million. But it’s very clear that he has the potential to become one of the best attackers in the world.
Arguably, he already is.
Easily, his market value should be close to nine figures now.
Julian Alvarez staying at Manchester City would be ideal – he’ll play more next season
Most City fans were not really worried at all about Alvarez leaving the club this summer. But it’s still good to get such an update.
Alvarez has seriously impressed for City so far. Indeed, Pep Guardiola branded him ‘exceptional’ just weeks ago.

He’s currently behind Haaland in the pecking order, but he still scored 17 goals.
He has also shown he is capable of playing deeper, which will definitely help him to get more minutes next season.
And he will surely get more minutes next season.
Potentially, once he starts to come out of his shell more, he could become yet another key player for Pep Guardiola.
