Manchester City are running out of time to potentially add some new players to their squad before the summer transfer window closes.
With Savinho being the only new addition to Pep Guardiola’s squad in this transfer period, the Blues only have until the end of the month to make some new acquisitions before the window shuts.
Having been linked with numerous players throughout the window, some behind-the-scenes details have now come to light regarding one player who has been on City’s radar for a significant period of time.

Man City to step up Eberechi Eze transfer pursuit
A recent report from Football Transfers had this to say on the matter.
It said: “As previously revealed, Eberechi Eze is a concrete target for the Citizens.
“The Premier League champions are enthusiastic about the prospect of potentially acquiring the England international.
“Though there are some concerns about his £60m (€70m) price tag, sources have informed us that City are stepping up their pursuit of the 26-year-old.
“A final decision on whether or not to sign him has not yet been made, however.”
Eze could be a star signing for City
City were linked with a move for the Crystal Palace midfielder during the previous summer transfer window (via Daily Mail).
During his time at the South London club, Eze, who admitted back in July that he is a big fan of Phil Foden, has made 124 appearances across all competitions, scoring 26 goals and delivering 17 assists in the process.
In 27 Premier League games last season, the 26-year-old ended the campaign with more key passes (54) and carries into the penalty area (43) than any other player at Palace.
In addition to his clear attacking talent, Eze could be a vital signing for City due to Oscar Bobb’s recent injury that looks set to keep him sidelined for the next few months.
