Manchester City have one of the best strikers in world football in Erling Haaland.
Since arriving at the Etihad Stadium from Borussia Dortmund in 2022, Haaland has clocked up a frankly staggering goal tally.
Indeed, when also factoring in assists, Haaland has effectively registered a goal contribution per game for Manchester City.
The Norway international’s tally at the Etihad reads 134 appearances, 118 goals and 17 assists.
Haaland is now just the second player to have scored 20-plus goals in each of his first three seasons in the Premier League.
However, Haaland has now admitted that there is one more thing he wants to add to his game.

Erling Haaland wants to be able to dribble like Lionel Messi
On Friday, Haaland took part in a Q&A on Sky Sports in which he answered some of the internet’s most asked questions about him.
One of those was about what he would add to his game, and the 24-year-old said “there’s a lot of things” he would add.
The one he mentioned in particular was his dribbling, saying he’d love to be on par with Lionel Messi when it comes to dribbling.
“Yeah of course, there’s a lot of things I would add of course, began Haaland.
“I think I would take Messi’s dribbling – would be quite nice to do, with my height, so yeah.”
When asked whether he had ever seen a player as tall as him who can dribble like Messi, Haaland replied: “Zlatan (Ibrahimovic)”.
The goal Erling Haaland likes watching back
Haaland was also asked whether he had a tendency to watch his own highlights back, to which he said he didn’t – unless it’s a particularly good goal.
“No normally not,” said Haaland. “If it’s a great goal, yeah I’ll watch it again a few times, but if not, not really no.”
When asked about any goal clips he has watched over and over again, Haaland opted for the one he scored against Paris Saint-Germain in February 2020.
“There’s a few goals I like a lot,” said Haaland. “A few days ago was five years since the Dortmund v PSG match, so I watched that a few times, you know, the long shot.
“But yeah, there’s a few so I like to watch again – also the face expressions and everything is quite funny to watch, because that’s something you don’t control, it just happens.”
