Kolo Toure has given his verdict on Manchester City and Belgium international winger Jeremy Doku.

The former Manchester City defender has noted what Doku has done already this season.

So, what has been said about Manchester City and Jeremy Doku?

Let’s take a look.

What’s the story?

Well, Jeremy Doku has hit the ground running at Manchester City and has been praised widely by pundits.

Doku has been so good that City manager Pep Guardiola is playing the 21-year-old ahead of England international star Jack Grealish at left wing.

The 21-year-old has scored two goals and provided five assists in six Premier League starts.

The youngster has scored one goal and provided one assist in one UEFA Champions League start for Pep Guardiola’s side so far this season.

Former City defender Kolo Toure has been hugely impressed with Doku and has noted that he has adapted to the way the defending Premier League champions play.

Doku joined City from Rennes in the summer transfer window for £55.5 million (Sky Sports).

Toure said on talkSPORT (12:55 pm, November 10, 2023): “Doku is a really good player, but he needed to adapt to the team.”

Manchester City winger Jeremy Doku could become world class

I believe that Manchester City and Belgium international winger Jeremy Doku could become a world-class player in the coming years.

The signs are already there.

First of all, Doku has already made himself an important player in Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola’s side.

Not every player to make an immediate impact at City like Doku has.

Secondly, the winger has pace, is not afraid to take on players, and is very good with the ball.

Doku also makes the right decisions.

I believe that under Guardiola, the winger could become one of the best wingers in the world in the coming years.
