Pep Guardiola was full of praise for one Manchester City player after his side’s 3-2 loss to AC Milan.
Guardiola was visibly frustrated after Marco Nasti’s winner — considering his side completely took control of the game in the second-half and ended up equalising, courtesy of James McAtee’s well-taken headed goal.
Before Nasti’s strike, it seemed inevitable that Manchester City would beat AC Milan.
But Paulo Fonseca’s side were clinical and ended up getting over the line.
A serial winner like the City boss would not have been in the best mood despite their defeat only being in pre-season.

Pep Guardiola raves about Oscar Bobb after Man City suffer AC Milan loss
The Sky Blues, however, do not need to be overly concerned about their results in pre-season.
But the English giants will be hoping to beat the likes of Barcelona and Chelsea in their upcoming games.
After Manchester City lost to AC Milan, Pep Guardiola honed in on a real bright spark for his side: Oscar Bobb.
Guardiola said via the club’s official website: “He’s electric, [in the] small spaces he’s really good.”
“Sometimes, in the last part, he has to be more composed and reduce his speed, for example the chance he missed in the first half, he has to be more calm, shoot or pass to Erling [Haaland].
“It’s a question of time, he’s young but his work ethic is unbelievable. He can play striker, in the pockets, winger.”
“When he’s comfortable he’s a guy who can dribble.”
Pep Guardiola continued to laud Bobb, saying: “They [Bobb and Haaland as a duo] were really good, better than the last game. He had an impact in the last one but his contributions, it’s not just that, it’s how he plays at the highest level.
“He’s decisive in one versus one and in the one versus two. He is aggressive with and without the ball and played in many positions
“He played well and not just him, lots were good.”
Oscar Bobb is ready to become a regular starter for Man City
It seems like Bobb has found a new gear in pre-season.
City’s number 52 seems far more comfortable than ever before as a right-winger, as he drifts inside, drives with the ball while grabbing a goal and three assists in his two last two outings against Celtic and AC Milan.
The Norwegian also seems a lot more sure of himself — taking plenty of risks and also embracing the responsibility of helping Manchester City dominate proceedings.
In terms of his defensive work as well, Bobb showcased against AC Milan as well that he is no slouch, pressing the opposition at will and being unafraid to use his body.
The Premier League winner might just be 21 but with how well-rounded a player he already is and his constant improvement, there is no reason to suggest why he is not prepared to regularly start for City next season.
