Manchester City have been without Oscar Bobb for the past couple of months after the winger suffered an untimely injury.
After shining in pre-season, Bobb sustained a leg fracture in training ahead of Manchester City’s opening Premier League game against Chelsea.
News of Bobb’s injury left City fans gutted, because many felt he was really ready to kick on.
Many agreed with Joleon Lescott that Bobb was City’s star performer in the US, and the Norwegian seemed all set to dazzle from the off.
But he suffered a fractured leg, and initial reports suggest he could be out until the end of the year.
However, some potentially good news has emerged about the 21-year-old.
Oscar Bobb ‘ahead of schedule’ in recovery from injury

It has been reported by The Sun that Oscar Bobb is actually ahead of schedule in his recovery from his leg fracture.
Bobb had been ruled out until the very end of the calendar year.
But it’s stated that he is hoping to return to light training in early December.
Potentially, that means we could be seeing Bobb make an appearance for City later in the month.
The club will of course be taking all the steps to ensure that Bobb won’t be at risk of aggravating the injury.
Pep Guardiola has some good alternatives in his absence, with new signing Savinho having looked lively on that right side since his arrival from Troyes.

It was a setback for the youngster, but hopefully, he’ll be able to pick up right where he left off. It’s certainly a good sign that there’s talk of him being ahead of schedule in his recovery.
Given this claim, the others will now need to step things up.
Savinho, Jeremy Doku and Jack Grealish have all done well so far but with Bobb’s return not too far off, they will need to ensure they’re playing well in order to keep their places.
