In our view, Gabby Agbonlahor is spot on, and really and truly, Erling Haaland has been in a league of his own ever since last season.
Some may dispute this claim and put forth names like Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane as Europe’s current best player.
However, not only has Erling Haaland been elite once again this campaign but his body of work during the 2022/2023 season also must be taken into consideration when discussing his standing in the game, as is the case with any player.
In most cases, any footballer that is regarded as superior to Haaland was unlikely to even be in the same stratosphere as him in terms of their performances and accolades last season.
All things considered, it is completely and utterly fair to crown Erling Haaland as not just the continent’s but perhaps even the world’s best player.
