The likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Erling Haaland and Phil Foden are some of the usual candidates named amongst the best players in the Premier League.
Manchester City also have the likes of Ruben Dias, Ilkay Gundogan and Bernardo Silva at their disposal, who are often named amongst some of the very best the English top-flight has to offer.
However, not every player at the Etihad Stadium is widely viewed in such a manner.
After all, certain players at City still have to prove themselves on a consistent basis.
In other cases, they have not played enough football for Pep Guardiola at Manchester City yet.
Savinho, for instance, is one name that stands out in this respect.
Micah Richards has compared Savinho to Riyad Mahrez — hailing the Sky Blues new-boy as a “fearless” player.

Tony Cascarino makes bold claim about Man City new-boy Savinho
The 20-year-old seems to be earning rave reviews for his displays at City so far.
However, the youngster has only made two league appearances for the English giants.
But Tony Cascarino has already named the Brazilian — signed for an initial £21 million plus £12.6 million in potential add-ons this summer — as one of the five best wingers in the Premier League for The Times.
Casarino’s list includes Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka, Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, Brighton & Hove Albion’s Kaoru Mitoma and Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho as well.
However, the pundit has also named Savinho in his list, stating: “What a joy it was to watch him running at Chelsea’s defence on his Premier League debut, sending defenders falling to the floor. He already looks like a great signing.”
Recently, even Ally McCoist backed Savinho to be a “great signing” for the Premier League winners as well.
Savinho is making a huge impression at Man City already
Bernardo Silva expressed his delight at Savinho joining Manchester City as well.
While Erling Haaland raved about Savinho by praising him for being “amazing” in a City shirt so far.
From pundits to fellow teammates, the youngster seems to have made a huge impression on the masses.
The highly-rated winger seemingly marries exceptional technique with a razor-sharp efficiency in the final third — traits that could ensure he becomes a potentially world-class wide forward one day.
Considering how impressive Savinho has been against both Chelsea and Ipswich Town, it would come as no surprise if he starts his third league game in a row against West Ham United.
