It has been reported that Chelsea are keen on the signing of Manchester City target Jeremy Doku.
This comes from L’Équipe after journalist Julien Laurens said that he was sure that the Rennes winger would join City.
But now, Chelsea have also entered the race to sign Manchester City-linked wideman Jeremy Doku.
Chelsea also interested in signing Manchester City target Jeremy Doku
Branded as a ‘dribbling machine’ by The Athletic, the 21-year-old has been earmarked as a potential replacement for Riyad Mahrez by the treble-winners.
So much so that even Pep Guardiola was reported to be hoping that he makes his way to the Etihad Stadium, as per a report on Sunday.
Now, it has been revealed that other clubs apart from Manchester City are also interested in signing Jeremy Doku, such as Chelsea.

As the Sky Blues are believed to be the frontrunners in the race for the Belgian international’s signature, a £51.3 million fee is expected to be enough to prise him away from Rennes.
Jeremy Doku would only likely head to Stamford Bridge on one condition
Unless Chelsea overpay massively for Jeremy Doku, which they have made a habit of doing under Todd Boehly’s ownership, Manchester City may end up missing out on him.
Unlike Mauricio Pochettino’s side, the Premier League champions have a tendency of walking away from deals if the quoted fee is way above their ideal valuation of a player.
From the likes of Virgil van Dijk in 2018 to Declan Rice in 2023, City are extremely stringent with themselves on how much they will allow themselves to spend on a transfer target.
But if that is not the case and the youngster himself had to pick a club out of the two, he would logically pick Manchester City.
Off the back of winning the treble and with Pep Guardiola in charge of the club, how could most, if not any player say no to joining them?
