Pep Guardiola believes that the 23-year-old has been the best of the best in the league, as he also told beIN SPORTS that he is winning games for Manchester City like the Manchester Derby as world-class players are supposed to.
Shaka Hislop also claimed that it is “hard to pick a better player” in the English top-flight than Phil Foden.

Ally McCoist also told talkSPORT that he has been claiming that the Englishman has been the standout performer in the league for “five weeks.”
As Ruben Dias was asked to chime in on whether he also thinks Phil Foden has been the best player in the division, he replied, “Well, I must agree that he’s for sure one of the lot. He’s always been special, he keeps on being special, it’s no surprise for me and I think for all of us in the team and even in the world of football.”

As Ruben Dias stated, it is important to allow Phil Foden to continue playing and show how brilliant he is.
While 23 is not considered young in footballing terms, it is in general and all this praise towards Foden, despite being merited may put unnecessary pressure on him.
It is likely that the five-time Premier League winner is not even getting carried away and has his sights set on winning trophies for City.
But even then, it is best if instead of calling Phil Foden world-class or the best in the Premier League at all times, he is allowed to continue progressing for the Sky Blues.
After all, a majority of football fans would rather that they keep getting to enjoy watching Phil Foden on the pitch this campaign rather than potentially get bogged down by all the attention coming his way.
