Manchester City are on the hunt for another Premier League title to add to their cabinet.
However, earlier this month, Pep Guardiola said that he doesn’t see winning five consecutive Premier League titles as rewarding as it was to break the record of winning four in a row.
Despite that, City have put themselves on track to potentially win the league again by securing victories in their two opening games of the campaign.
Having beat Chelsea 2-0 on the opening day at Stamford Bridge and then picking up a 4-1 home victory against Ipswich Town, one player in City’s squad has found himself being the topic of conversation, with one pundit sharing his astonishment at what he does on the pitch.

Jason Cundy admits Erling Haaland is unbelievable
After seeing Erling Haaland score his tenth City hat-trick and his first of the new season against Ipswich, Jason Cundy had this to say about the striker in a recent edition of Premier League All Access.
He said: “Honestly, what is going on? He defies logic, doesn’t he?
“I mean, the commentary was, I think it was Ian Danter, saying he’s looking for his hat trick, and within seconds he gets it.
“But when he gets two, you think, third’s coming. He’s just a goal pig, honestly.
“When you’ve got someone up top like that, you know you can get yourself out of jail. You know you’re going to win the game. He gets two, you’ve probably won the game anyway.”
Haaland’s goals will be key for City again
In his debut league season at City, Haaland bagged 36 goals in 35 games, which he then followed up by scoring 27 goals in 31 league matches last term.
With two games under his belt in this latest campaign, the Norwegian has found the back of the net on four occasions.
In fact, the 24-year-old has the joint-highest total of shots on target (5) in the Premier League after two games.
Regardless of what Guardiola has said about seeing his side potentially break their own record and win a fifth league title in a row, there’s no denying that the Blues will want to do it.
Therefore, it’s clear that Haaland’s goals will be key if City do go on to win another league trophy.
