Kyle Walker has lavished praise on to Manchester City new-boy Josko Gvardiol.

As quoted by the Mirror, the 33-year-old gave his two cents on the £77 million (BBC Sport) man’s start to life at the Etihad Stadium.

It’s safe to say that Kyle Walker has been left impressed by how ready Josko Gvardiol has looked since signing for Manchester City.

Kyle Walker raves about Manchester City new-boy Josko Gvardiol

It was revealed at the start of August that Pep Guardiola’s men internally believed that the 21-year-old could lead their backline for the next decade and was a ‘force’ to be reckoned with.

So far, Gvardiol, branded as ‘phenomenal’ by Kovacic has looked the part in sky blue, both on and off the ball at left-back against the likes of Sevilla, Newcastle United and Sheffield United.

Now, Kyle Walker has lauded Josko Gvardiol for how brilliant a player he already is at such a young age.

“Josko Gvardiol, he’s class. At 21, to be doing what he’s doing and to have achieved what he has, the sky’s the limit”, the veteran said.

The world knows Josko Gvardiol is destined for greatness

It seems like despite Josko Gvardiol starting a mere three games at Manchester City, Kyle Walker already realises the gem the club have at their disposal.

Similarly, it was clear to see that despite RB Leipzig’s attempts to fork up the highest possible fee from City, they decided to stay in the race and negotiate instead of typically walking away and looking elsewhere.

It was also reported in August that the staff at Chelsea believe that alongside Levi Colwill and Benoit Badiashile, Josko Gvardiol is the best young defender in the world.

Gvardiol is clearly a generational talent as far as centre-backs go and under Guardiola’s keen eye, there is no limit to the heights he could hit in the game.
