Manchester City will be looking to get their Premier League journey back on track this weekend.
With the first international break of the season out of the way, City will be back in front of their home crowd on Saturday with a clash against Brentford next up for Pep Guardiola’s side.
The Blues head into this game as league leaders after winning all three of their opening matches of the campaign, scoring more goals (9) than any other side in the division.
Having seen his side lose to the champions twice last season, Thomas Frank has now shared his thoughts on this latest meeting and highlighted one particular player in City’s squad he thinks is rather difficult to deal with.

Thomas Frank assesses Erling Haaland threat ahead of Man City vs Brentford
When asked in his recent press conference (via BBC Sport) ahead of Saturday’s clash how difficult it is to keep Erling Haaland quiet, Frank said this in response.
He said: “Close to impossible [on getting close to Haaland]. A lot of teams have tried to neutralise him.
“I think he is a great player. I think his movements in the box is probably some of the best we have ever seen.
“The way he anticipates and is constantly on the move and focused and aware of where to position himself. That’s top-level.
“He is so focused to make sure he times it in the right moment. He is a decent player, in the best team in the world.
“It is a top team but we know if we hit a good level we can make it difficult for them. We will do what we can, to play a good game but I believe we can do something.”
Haaland is hard to keep quiet
Frank isn’t the only person to highlight how dangerous the 24-year-old is in terms of how he moves around the pitch to score goals as Ian Wright said last month that Haaland’s hunger to score goals and make the most of any chance that comes his way make him so difficut to defend against.
As one of the nine outfield players to start all three of City’s league games, Haaland has bagged seven goals, which is more than the majority of clubs in the division have been able to.
Bearing in mind how Brentford have been unable to keep a clean sheet so far this season, the City striker will see tomorrow’s clash as a key opportunity to increase his goal tally for the season and get closer to potentially winning a third consecutive Golden Boot.
