While Mykolenko and his fellow defenders had done a commendable job of keeping Haaland quiet for most of the contest, he stunned them by finding the back of the net twice.

Vitaliy Mykolenko also named Erling Haaland when quizzed about who he reckons is the best player in the Premier League at this current moment in time.
“[Erling] Haaland”, the Ukrainian initially said in an interview with Sky Sports.
When quizzed about why he thinks Erling Haaland is the best of the best, Vitaliy Mykolenko replied, “Finishing, great finishing. Last game I played, he scored twice. He had two moments and he scored twice.”
Completeness does not matter when a player is as effective as Erling Haaland
While several fans and pundits would argue that because there may be more well-rounded players like Erling Haaland in the Premier League, an active professional like Vitaliy Mykolenko recognises the match-winning ability he possesses.
Completeness is important but it is far from being all that matters in players.
Especially Erling Haaland, who can change the course of a game in a split second, as he did against Vitaliy Mykolenko and Co.
Such effectiveness in any player across all positions of the pitch is extremely rare, even if there may be more complete players in English football than the 23-year-old.
