Erling Haaland has now entered his third season as a Manchester City player.
Having scored 94 goals in 101 appearances for City, the Norwegian has lifted numerous team trophies and individual awards during his time at the Manchester club.
His latest game saw the 24-year-old score his 10th hat-trick for Pep Guardiola’s side in their recent 4-1 win over Ipswich Town.
Once the match had ended, the striker spoke to the media about one particular player who made a rather special appearance in the game.

Erling Haaland drops Ilkay Gundogan verdict after Man City return
After seeing Ilkay Gundogan make his first appearance for City since returning to the club earlier this week, Haaland said this to Sky Sports News (24/8 5:21 pm) about the German and his move back to the Etihad Stadium.
He said: “Amazing. You know, when he is in the locker room, I saw him yesterday in the treatment room, it feels normal, you know, to just see him.
“It’s good to have him back, and, of course, he is an amazing footballer, everyone knows. Cannot wait to play with him again.”
Haaland will benefit from having Gundogan back in the City team
Haaland isn’t the only person at City to share their pleasure at seeing the German return to the club, as Txiki Begiristain said earlier this week that Gundogan will be an “inspiration” for everyone in the squad.
After scoring 60 goals and providing 38 assists in 304 appearances for City in his first spell at the club, the 33-year-old joined Barcelona as a free agent last summer.
Having then gone on to make more shot-creating actions (166) than any other Barcelona player in La Liga last season, this highlights how effective he can be for City once again in terms of being a creative spark in the team.
In fact, this would massively benefit Haaland and his aim of winning a third consecutive Golden Boot.
