There is doubt surrounding the future of Jack Grealish at Man City heading into the summer transfer window.
Having made the £100m move from Aston Villa during the summer of 2021, the Englishman has experienced an up-and-down spell at the Etihad Stadium.
Grealish thrived under Pep Guardiola throughout the 2022/23 campaign, but this season has seen the 29-year-old fall down the pecking order at City.
Man City are happy to sell Grealish this summer as the winger continues to work hard to try and work his way back into Guardiola’s plans.
The England international’s intentions for next season have become clear as it remains to be seen what the summer brings for the former Aston Villa star.

Jack Grealish wants to stay at Man City next season
Heading into the 2025/26 campaign, there is likely to be very tough competition for the wing positions in Guardiola’s squad and Grealish will be aware of this, yet the 29-year-old hopes to remain at the Etihad.
Manchester City News’ transfer correspondent Graeme Bailey has provided an update on the future of the Englishman, reporting that Grealish is very happy at Man City and he feels he still has a lot of top-class football in him to compete for a place in Guardiola’s team next season.
City are ready to overhaul their squad this summer, particularly the attacking midfielder department. Kevin De Bruyne is leaving, James McAtee could very well go, and Bernardo Silva is far from certain to stay. Grealish’s future is far from secure, but it is not certain that he will leave.
There is some interest from elsewhere, including his former club Aston Villa amongst others, while Tottenham and Newcastle have looked before and there are clubs abroad who admire him, with AC Milan being among the interested parties.
As it stands, Grealish is not in a hurry to leave Man City, he loves the club, he loves the area and is very settled.
Jack Grealish as a number 10
Gary Neville believes Grealish has become too predictable and therefore, the winger will struggle to get back into Guardiola’s starting 11 should he continue to be deployed out wide.
Man City fans were impressed with Grealish when he played as a number 10 against Leicester City last month, a contest in which the 29-year-old scored his only Premier League goal of the season.
A move into the centre could be the lifeline the winger needs at Man City, with Shay Given also calling for Guardiola to play Grealish as a number 10.
This summer will be a very interesting one in Manchester as City fans will be paying close attention to what happens to their record signing.
