Kevin De Bruyne’s time at Man City is coming to an end.
The Belgian superstar is out of contract at the Etihad Stadium at the end of the year and once it expires, it will bring to an end a legendary 10-year career at City, one Micah Richards believes is the best ever seen at the Manchester club.
Recently, De Bruyne stated that Man City never offered him a new deal, which seems to have irked the midfielder ahead of his exit.
It remains to be seen where the 33-year-old takes his career next, with Inter Miami among the clubs interested in De Bruyne, but the superstar has already made one decision ahead of the summer and is now set for talks with City to see if it can be done.

Kevin De Bruyne wants to leave Man City early
This summer is an unusual one when it comes to transfers as the new FIFA Club World Cup allows special dispensation for clubs to extend player deals by a further two weeks as the tournament doesn’t end until July 13.
Man City’s campaign gets underway on June 18 against Wydad AC and according to the Daily Star, De Bruyne doesn’t want to be part of the trip to the United States.
The Belgian star is set to hold talks with Man City regarding his participation in the Club World Cup this summer and the 33-year-old is expected to ask to be left out of the travelling squad.
De Bruyne is said to have reservations about being involved as he does not want to run the risk of getting injured, as it would have a major impact on his ability to find a new club, in addition to wanting a break before joining a new team.
Talks over ending his time at Man City will need to take place soon and the Manchester club will be hoping the legendary figure’s final game for the club will be at Wembley with him lifting the FA Cup trophy once again.

The latest on Kevin De Bruyne’s future
Since announcing his departure, the biggest story around the Man City legend has been the Manchester club’s decision not to offer the 33-year-old a new deal, which was likely made with De Bruyne’s huge salary in mind.
When it comes to transfers, the Chicago Fire seem to be leading the way in the race for De Bruyne, as the MLS side continue to push for the Belgian superstar and it is believed that the midfielder is keen to listen to their project.
America is very likely the Man City captain’s next destination as De Bruyne is open to playing in the MLS as he has no interest in moving to Saudi Arabia.
A decision on his next club is likely to take place once City’s season has come to an end and for De Bruyne, it remains to be seen if that is before the Club World Cup gets underway.
