Zlatan Ibrahimovic has uploaded a picture of him and Manchester City striker Erling Haaland – and left a heartwarming caption.
Manchester City and AC Milan played against each other on Saturday night in a pre-season match in New York.
Milan won the game 3-2, but it was still a useful exercise for City.
It was a tricky afternoon for Ederson, who was criticised by a local media outlet for performance. The Brazilian was made captain by Pep Guardiola, and might have done better on a couple of the Milan goals.
In terms of the standouts, it was another great night for Oscar Bobb, who furthered his case to be starting more for the first-team.
Erling Haaland grabbed the game’s opening goal for City, but before the game kicked off he met the legendary Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who has today shared a nice post of the moment on Instagram.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic pays tribute to Mino Raiola as he uploads picture with Erling Haaland

Haaland met up with Zlatan Ibrahimovic ahead of last night’s game and posed for photographs with the Swedish former striker.
The Norwegian sensational also signed a shirt for the 42-year-old.
The moment they met was recorded and it was clear to see the respect they both have for one another.
Ibrahimovic – who now has a role at Milan as a special advisor – won an awful lot of trophies throughout his 24-year career and was adored by supporters for his incredible talents as a player and also his entertaining personality.
Haaland has been likened to Ibrahimovic throughout his career for having a similar physical build to the Swede and also having impressive athleticism like his fellow Scandinavian.
But the link between the two players does not stop at play style.
Both Haaland and Ibrahimovic were both clients of Mino Raiola, the super agent who sadly passed away in 2022.
Earlier today, Ibrahimovic uploaded a picture of him and Haaland at last night’s game between City and Milan, and paid tribute to their former agent, writing the caption: “Mino would have been proud.”
Raiola would certainly be proud
Raiola passed away before he ever got to see Haaland playing for City, with Brazilian lawyer Rafaela Pimenta taking over his agency and helping the striker complete his move to the Etihad.
There is no doubt Raiola would be remarkably proud to see what Haaland has achieved since completing the move that he laid the groundwork for.
It has been a hugely successful couple of years in England so far for Haaland, who will soon surpass 100 appearances for the club and also 100 goals.
And Ibrahimovic, of course, has also enjoyed a truly wonderful career and recently took up a position at Milan, and it will be interesting to see what kind of impact he has there.
