This season has been a struggle for Pep Guardiola at Man City.
From winning four Premier League titles in a row, the Manchester club have dropped off massively from competing for the English league title with the defending champions currently 18 points behind league leaders Liverpool.

Guardiola believes qualifying for the Champions League should not be taken for granted and achieving this alongside winning the FA Cup would salvage the 2024/25 campaign for the Manchester club.
Should this occur, Man City fans will point to the January transfer window as one of the moments their season turned, with Brazilian legend Cafu tipping one of these stars to have a huge impact at the Etihad Stadium.

Cafu heaps praise on Man City’s Omar Marmoush
Cafu knows a thing to two about what a good winger looks like and the Brazilian seems to be impressed with the impact Omar Marmoush has had at Man City since arriving from Eintracht Frankfurt as part of a £59m deal in January.
Marmoush impressed Gary Neville with his role in Bernardo Silva’s opening goal for City against Aston Villa on Tuesday night and these early days for the Egyptian in Manchester are only a sign of things to come, believes Cafu.
Speaking to winwinsports, the legendary full-back has said that Marmoush is a ‘top player’ and that he is sure he will be a big success at Man City over the coming years under Guardiola’s guidance.
“Omar Marmoush’s presence at Manchester City is a clear sign of how much football has evolved, especially Arab football,” Cafu said.
“He’s a top player at a top club like Man City, a team that shines on every level. I’m sure he’ll achieve great success there and bring so much joy to the Egyptian people”.
Marmoush has admitted that Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah is his idol and if the Egyptian can achieve half of what the winger has at Anfield, the 26-year-old will have an impressive Premier League career.

Omar Marmoush’s impact at Man City
Since arriving in January, Marmoush has featured 16 times for Man City, producing seven goals and two assists, with the Egyptian’s versatility being a very useful tool for Guardiola.
Don Hutchison believes Marmoush can replace De Bruyne in the 10 role at the Etihad, while Micah Richards thinks left wing is the Man City star’s most effective position.

This summer is a huge one for City and Guardiola as they look to revamp their squad and with several stars expected to arrive in Manchester, it remains to be seen how Marmoush is going to be used next season.
Whatever role the 26-year-old is deployed in, he is likely to be a success given the impact the winger has already had at City, and with Guardiola as his coach, the Egyptian star has the potential to be a Premier League great.
