On Monday, it was revealed that Manchester City are interested in signing Rodrygo.

Manchester City News exclusively revealed that Pep Guardiola’s side have admired Rodrygo for ages and are keen to sign him if Savinho joins Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

Savinho is open to signing for Tottenham and if he does complete a move to Spurs, City will lack another natural winger in their ranks apart from Jeremy Doku.

The Real Madrid technician is an established player already, and if he were to move to the Etihad Stadium, the 24-year-old would be the league’s most high-profile summer addition alongside Florian Wirtz.

Pep Guardiola loves Man City target Rodrygo

Rodrygo is a top-class player and since his move to the Spanish capital, he has been one of Los Blancos’ most important attackers.

Jude Bellingham believes Rodrygo is “underrated” and even more “gifted” than superstars like Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr — which speaks volumes about the Brazilian winger’s quality.

Fabrizio Romano has now claimed on his official YouTube channel that Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is a huge fan of Rodrygo as well.

“It’s important to say that he’s always been a player loved by Pep Guardiola, also in the recent years, he was in the list of Man City, then, it didn’t happen.”

Sergio Aguero has already provided bold Rodrygo verdict

With Real Madrid prepared to sell Rodrygo, Manchester City could get their hands on a phenomenal player in Rodrygo, with Pep Guardiola looking like he would be on board with his arrival.

However, Fabrizio Romano revealed that Los Blancos would demand around €100 million (£86.5 million) for the former Santos speedster.

Sergio Aguero suggested Rodrygo is better than Julian Alvarez and the Manchester City legend’s viewpoint would certainly excite the fans about the potential move.

However, only time will tell whether City manage to sign the 24-year-old.
