Manchester City are currently working on trimming down Pep Guardiola’s squad.
The legendary coach made it clear that he did not want to work with a large group throughout the 25/26 campaign, and with James Trafford set to become Man City’s sixth signing of the summer this week, work needs to be done in Manchester.
James McAtee is one star certain to leave Man City, while the Premier League giants will have a tough time moving Jack Grealish and Kalvin Phillips on before the transfer window shuts.
Another effective way of reducing numbers is selling and loaning out younger players, and with one 21-year-old now set to leave the Etihad Stadium, Man City have set a £10m asking price as English clubs are showing interest.

Man City looking for £10m to sell Callum Doyle
Many thought Callum Doyle would have a future at Man City, having impressed away from the club in recent years; however, everyone associated with the defender seems to think that a move away from Manchester is best for his development.
The 21-year-old has spent the last four years on loan with clubs such as Sunderland, Coventry City, Leicester City and Norwich City, where the Englishman has racked up over 100 senior games.
According to The Athletic, Man City want £10m to sell Doyle this summer, who is being monitored by clubs in the Championship ahead of the new season.
A deal is likely to be a loan again, with an option or obligation to buy attached, which will be set around the £10m mark.
This comes after Hoffenheim had a £6.5m bid rejected in June, as many clubs see something in the Manchester City youngster.

Callum Doyle told he has the world at his feet
Doyle impressed on loan with Norwich last season, and the defender certainly caught the attention of his teammate and centre-back partner Shane Duffy, who stated that the 21-year-old has the world at his feet.
“He’s got the world at his feet. He’s such a good player,” Duffy told Pink Un. “Firstly, I think he’s just a great guy, he’s a great guy and he just wants to learn.
“It’s not like I haven’t enjoyed playing with Jose [Cordoba] or Grant [Hanley], but me and Callum have got this understanding. Callum probably understands English football a little bit more than Jose – he’s still adapting and has a massive future. I’m sure he will be playing soon.
“Callum Doyle is just so good. He makes me look so bad on the ball because he’s so good. He’s a joy to play with. I listen to him – we’ve got a connection, and we’ve got to try and keep everyone fit.”
