Man City fans are saying the same thing about Vincent Kompany after he wins the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich

Vincent Kompany is well and truly a serial winner as he has officially won the Bundesliga title with Bayern Munich in his debut season at the Allianz Arena.

Thibaut Courtois stated Kompany was “unbelievable” as a player and as a manager, he seems to be operating at world-class levels as well having succeed at Anderlecht, Burnley and Bayern.

The Manchester City legend has the chance of becoming the select few figures in football to have had an incredible playing career followed by a potentially equally unforgettable time in management.

Kevin De Bruyne knew Kompany would manage at some point after retiring as a player and his prediction has proven to be true as the Belgian is turning out to be a top-quality tactician.

Manchester City fans worldwide sent congratulatory messages to Vincent Kompany, with many tipping him to return to the Etihad Stadium one day.

Fans rave tip Vincent Kompany as future Man City manager after Bundesliga win with Bayern Munich

One Manchester City fan lauded Kompany’s triumph with Bayern Munich by simply writing that his managerial post at his former club awaits him: “Congrats Vincent Kompany, your seat in the dugout of the Etihad is waiting for you.”

Another Manchester City fan congratulated Vincent Kompany after he won the Bundesliga with Bayern as well: “Well done to Vincent Kompany on winning the Bundesliga in his first season at the club.”

A third fan dubbed the legendary centre-back as a “future Man City manager”: “Congratulations Vincent Kompany! Future Man City manager.”

A fourth Manchester City fan decided to send shots at Mikel Arteta due to his failure to win a league title after Vincent Kompany won the Bundesliga in his first season: “Kompany won a league title in his first season with Bayern Munich. [Arne] Slot won a league title in his first season with Liverpool. Xabi Alonso won a league title in his first season with Leverkusen. Arteta has been managing Arsenal since 2019 and has zero titles.”

While a fifth City supporter pointed out how incredible the 39-year-old’s achievement really is: “Big up to Kompany he walked into a Bayern Munich side that finished third under [Thomas] Tuchel against a Leverkusen that went invincible last season.”

Finally, a sixth Manchester City fan dubbed Kompany a “serial winner” after he won the Bundesliga, saying: “Vincent Kompany – Bundesliga champion, Champions League quarter-finalist in his first season, the man who finally got Harry Kane a trophy. You think he’s done? Serial winners don’t stop. This isn’t his ceiling.”

The four-time Premier League winner is clearly still a very loved man at the Etihad Stadium and he would be appreciating all the message from his well wishers.

Pep Guardiola predicted whether Vincent Kompany will manage Man City one day

Pep Guardiola recommended Bayern to appoint Kompany and it’s safe to say that the German giants will be thanking their former manager for doing so.

While John Stones tipped Kompany to succeed in management as well and it’s safe to say that he has lived up to the expectations so far.

Guardiola claimed Vincent Kompany will manage Manchester City in 2023 as well, as he remarked: “I think all of us as [Manchester City] fans will be happy for him to be back. He will be back sooner or later, so I think his destiny is to become a manager of Man City it is written in the stars.”

“It is going to happen I don’t know when but it will. “

“I said sooner or later, he will be manager for City, when I don’t know but I am pretty sure. No [I have not spoken to him about it]. It is my feeling, maybe I am wrong.”

Pep Guardiola added: “His work ethic, knowledge of the game, a lot of respect, experience doing what he has done is so difficult and he is doing it really, really well. He knows the club, the environment, our fans and what our people need. The destiny is there.”
