Matheus Nunes has now been speaking about his Manchester City teammate Ederson.
The Portugal international made the comments when chatting to Sky Sports.

Well, the Manchester City No.27 thinks the South American glovesman could even play in midfield.
Nunes said: “You can see why they won the treble. Everyone is so talented – even Ederson could play as a midfielder. The levels here are different to anything I’ve seen before.”
The Brazil international has often raced off his line to moonlight as a midfield maestro since arriving from Benfica in a £34.7m deal back in June 2017 – much to the anguish of Pep Guardiola.
Erling Haaland has also spoken glowingly about Ederson’s technical ability – even admitting he would allow the Brazilian to take a penalty to save his life.
If the situation required such a change, we believe the 30-year-old could genuinely do a job in midfield for Guardiola, perhaps in a No.6 role where his excellent passing skills could be utilised.
While that is highly unlikely to happen, sadly, there is no doubt that the £100,000-a-week man redefined his position after arriving at the Etihad Stadium.
Ederson is actually an unsung Manchester City hero
While many often go on about Ederson’s phenomenal footwork, few people discuss his shot-stopping skills.
Those were evident for all to see in Istanbul back in June as the Osasco-born glovesman delivered a Man of the Match performance in the UEFA Champions League final.
Inter Milan No.32 Federico Dimarco – who is said to be a target for Guardiola – even praised the Brazilian for his efforts.
Ederson made a number of remarkable saves as Manchester City recorded a 1-0 win over Inter Milan, and while Rodri will go down as a legend for his strike, the Manchester City No.31 deserves icon status of his own for his display in between the sticks.
