Manchester City won against Brighton and Hove Albion this past weekend, and one of their best players was Jeremy Doku.
Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City beat Brighton and Hove Albion 2-1 at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League this past Saturday.
Julian Alvarez and Erling Haaland were the goalscorers for the defending champions.
Jeremy Doku provided the assist for Alvarez’s goal.
Some were surprised that Doku started the match ahead of England international star Jack Grealish, but the fact of the matter is that the 21-year-old winger has been playing well since his move in the summer transfer window.

The Belgium international is very quick, explosive, and is brilliant in one-on-one situations.
Against Brighton this past weekend, Doku ran James Milner ragged.
During his time on the pitch at the Etihad Stadium, Doku took three shots and one of them was on target, played two key passes, had a pass accuracy of 83.8%, took 57 touches, attempted five dribbles, made one tackle, and put in two crosses.
Micah Richards on Manchester City winger Jeremy Doku
Former City star and Match of the Day pundit Micah Richards was impressed by the performance produced by Doku.
Richards has noted that the Belgium international winger was “outstanding” against Brighton, adding that he is playing his best football since his transfer.
The pundit said about Doku on Match of the Day on BBC One, as transcribed by The Argus: “He was outstanding but, like De Zerbi, said it wasn’t just him.
“Brighton didn’t know whether to press, whether to drop off.
“One pass and Doku is up against Milner, who has just come back from injury 37 years of age. It is always going to be difficult.”
Richards added: “This guy is playing his best football since he has come to Man City.
“He is so sharp, alive.”
Jeremy Doku a rising star at Manchester City
I have been very impressed with Jeremy Doku so far.
The winger has taken to the Premier League like a duck to water and has hit the ground running at Manchester City.
It usually takes new players a while to get used to Pep Guardiola’s system, but Doku has just got it right already.
The 21-year-old has scored one goal and given one assist in five starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League this season.
Doku has also scored one goal and provided one assist in 64 minutes in the UEFA Champions League this season.
