It has been reported that Manchester City target Josko Gvardiol has always dreamt of a transfer to Real Madrid.

This comes from Calcio Mercato, after it was claimed on Sunday that Pep Guardiola’s side were set to launch an opening bid of £75 million to sign him.

However, it seems that while Manchester City are hot on the heels to sign Josko Gvardiol, his desire has always been to join Real Madrid.

Recently, even the ever-credible journalist Jack Gaughan made the claim that City were ready to ‘intensify’ their pursuit for the youngster’s signature, with £85 million believed to be the fee at which he could be sold.

In addition, Fabrizio Romano had revealed that Pep Guardiola is actually a massive admirer of the Croatian international’s, who was branded as ‘special’ by Owen Hangreaves via Football.London.

However, a report has emerged that claims that Manchester City target Josko Gvardiol has always considered a move to Real Madrid as his dream transfer.

But it was emphasised that the treble winners look the likeliest to win the race to sign Gvardiol.

To add to that, it has also been mentioned by Fabrizio Romano that he is ‘keen’ on a move to the Etihad Stadium.

Manchester City have nothing to be worried about

As with many players, Josko Gvardiol may have always been fascinated about signing for Real Madrid but it is clear to see that he is also pining for a transfer to Manchester City.

Los Blancos are seemingly not looking to sign the RB Leipzig wonderkid, while the player himself is naturally tempted to join City, off the back of a treble-winning season and with Pep Guardiola at their disposal.

Every player has his desires to play for certain clubs but things are not as cut and dry in football, as if that was to be the case, the youngster would merely stay at Leipzig until the hope the Spanish giants came calling.
