It seems like Manchester City are finally on course to trim their squad after weeks of little to no noise about their potential outgoings.
Ederson Moraes is open to joining Galatasaray and he could be one of the many players to depart City this summer.
Several Sky Blues players have seemingly caught the Turkish giants’ eye, with Galatasaray keen on signing Manuel Akanji as well.
With Manchester City having a squad rebuild in mind for months, it only seemed like a matter of time until they would reduce the size of their bloated squad.

Inter Milan interested in signing Man City star Mateo Kovacic
Pep Guardiola has an ageing squad at his disposal, with the likes of Mateo Kovacic (31), Bernardo Silva (30), Ilkay Gundogan (34), Ederson (31), Akanji (30) and John Stones (31) all aged 30 or above.
With Guardiola revealing he wants a smaller squad than the one at his disposal currently, City must adhere to the demands of the greatest manager in their history with a month left for the new season to start.
Kovacic, who is currently injured, is on his former club, Inter Milan’s radar as they are in the market for a replacement for Hakan Calhanoglou, in case he signs for Fenerbahce — as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter’s sporting director Ausilio has been targeting the three-Champions League winner for ages, and shares a strong bond with the midfielder, as the pair spoke before the Italian giants signed his countryman, Petar Sucic.
However, aside from Kovacic, whose contract expires in 2027, Inter Milan have several replacements in mind in case Calhanoglou makes a move to Fenerbahce, including Granit Xhaka, Ederson dos Santos and Joao Palhinha.
The reason why Inter Milan could cancel Kovacic pursuit
Pep Guardiola’s men could be quite short in the central midfield department if the decorated technician leaves, with Manchester City News exclusively revealing that Galatasaray are pushing to sign Ilkay Gundogan and Nico Gonzalez could depart the Etihad Stadium.
Kovacic, who Jack Grealish called “unbelievable” is experienced and has largely been solid in a Manchester City shirt but he could potentially be tempted by a move to Inter Milan, having played 97 games for them.

Aside from Bernardo Silva and Tijjani Reijnders, City could lack another seasoned number eight in their ranks if Kovacic and Gundogan both leave, with Nico accompanying them as well.
However, the report has mentioned that Inter Milan will only push for a move for the Croatian if he recovers from his ‘heel bone’ injury.
