Several players within Pep Guardiola’s squad will leave Manchester City over the coming weeks.
The legendary coach made it clear towards the end of last season that he does not want to work with a big group of players throughout the upcoming campaign, with Man City currently focused on selling James McAtee, as the midfielder is the easiest player to offload.
There are several other stars the Manchester club will listen to offers for, outside of the obvious names Guardiola wants gone, and Friday saw Galatasaray show interest in two stars from this group.
Galatasaray have taken steps to sign Ederson and Manuel Akanji this week, and one of these players is now believed to be considering his future at the Etihad Stadium.

Ederson is deciding if he wants to leave Man City
Al-Nassr were keen to sign Ederson last summer, and the Brazilian star wanted to leave Man City for Saudi Arabia, but Guardiola talked him out of the move, telling his goalkeeper that he could earn the riches on offer in the Gulf towards the end of his career.
Guardiola has already stated that Ederson will stay at Man City for the 25/26 season; however, things seem to have changed in recent days, as Galatasaray continue to push for the 31-year-old.
It was reported on Friday that the Turkish club submitted a £2.5m bid for Ederson, but The Times are now reporting that no offer was sent to Man City for their number one.
The report does state that the Brazilian is aware of the Turkish club’s interest and is “now deciding whether he would like to move” and end his eight-year association with the Premier League giants.
That decision will need to come very soon, as Man City’s squad return for pre-season training in nine days.

What other clubs want Ederson
Galatasaray are not the only club in the market for the Man City goalkeeper, as Al-Nassr and Al-Ittihad remain interested in Ederson, having made their admiration for the Brazilian clear over the last 12 months.
It was reported this week that Napoli held talks over signing Ederson recently, but a move was not feasible, which was likely due to the salary the 31-year-old wanted to make the move to Serie A.
Others will likely arrive if the Man City star makes it clear that he wants to leave ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, but any new club would have a disadvantage in the race, as Galatasaray and the Saudi clubs have put down solid foundations.
