Alan Shearer believes Kevin De Bruyne has every kind of pass in his locker.

In October, Jack Grealish claimed that the 32-year-old was the best creator in world football.

After Manchester City’s latest triumph against Everton, Erling Haaland also revealed that he expects Kevin De Bruyne to play a “perfect” pass at almost all times.

Recently, Michail Antonio disclosed that Kalvin Phillips recently told him that the Belgian captain “sees passes no one else sees.”

In addition, Antonio revealed that when De Bruyne and Haaland are on the pitch together, he expects the former to provide the latter an assist.

Alan Shearer has now praised Kevin De Bruyne for his ability to pull off any kind of pass.

“Can you imagine when you’re a centre-forward like him [Erling Haaland]? As soon as [Kevin] De Bruyne gets that ball, you’re off, aren’t you? You know he’s just going to find you. You know that with his ability”, he said on The Rest Is Football podcast.

Gary Lineker interrupted, “Alan [Shearer], can I just butt in there for a second? You said, imagine when you’re a striker like Haaland. We were, Alan! We were!”

Alan Shearer replied, “Well, I know but having [Kevin] De Bruyne around. God, it’s just dreamland for him, isn’t it? With his ability. Just get on your bike and he’ll find you.”

In June last year, West Ham United marksman Michail Antonio went as far as to confidently claim that he would score 30 goals if he led the line for Manchester City.

A huge reason behind that is because the Jamaican international felt that Erling Haaland has the luxury of being fed chance after chance by a creator of the calibre of Kevin De Bruyne.

Such is the reputation of the former VFL Wolfsburg midfielder, even amongst top professionals in the game.

Last year, Alan Shearer also described Kevin De Bruyne as a “centre-forward’s dream.”

The popular pundit had added that one factor behind Haaland’s rousing success in the Premier League was due to De Bruyne’s habit of finding him constantly.

As Joleon Lescott rightly said, Kevin De Bruyne is a “ridiculously high level” player and to the envy of managers, rival players and fans, he just continues to raise the bar.
