With Kevin De Bruyne, Kyle Walker and Maximo Perrone already out of the door, it seems as though Manchester City could offload more players this summer as well.

One of them is Ederson Moraes, who could sign for Galatasaray and become the third City legend after De Bruyne and Walker to bid farewell to the Etihad Stadium this summer.

Manchester City News exclusively revealed that Stefan Ortega’s camp are assessing his options and with James Trafford keen to join Pep Guardiola’s side, there could be a major reshuffle in the Sky Blues’ goalkeeping department.

Another player whose future at City is in doubt is James McAtee.

James McAtee could stay at Man City this summer

McAtee held talks with Eintracht Frankfurt when he travelled to Germany to negotiate his move away from the Etihad Stadium.

Nottingham Forest are keen to sign McAtee among a whole host of clubs.

While it was reported that Manchester City are focusing on selling McAtee, journalist Ben Jacobs revealed on talkSPORT that in a surprising turn of events, the midfielder could stay this summer as well.

Jacobs claimed: “One likely destination might be a stay in Manchester City just because Man City don’t really want to sell, in Cole Palmer territory just before he joined Chelsea where the player would have to go to Pep Guardiola and say clearly, ‘I want to leave’ and Man City would be understanding of that.”

Cole Palmer could play a huge role in James McAtee’s future

Pep Guardiola called McAtee an “exceptional guy” and he would perhaps like to have him at his disposal next season, considering the Manchester City technician can play in midfield while doing a job up front and out wide.

During the Under-21 European Championship, the 22-year-old exhibited his class by captaining his nation to winning the tournament as well.

Manchester City’s valuation of McAtee is based on the fee they sold Cole Palmer for to Chelsea, taking into account he has played more games for his boyhood club than his former teammate.

As a result, City could bank a sizeable fee if the player decides to play elsewhere and communicates his potential wish to do so to Pep Guardiola.
