It seems like Al-Nassr now have a new name on their transfer wishlist instead of Ederson Moraes.
On Tuesday, it was claimed that Al-Nassr’s deal for Ederson was off the table.
It was also reported by Fabrizio Romano that but the Saudi Pro League club wished to pay €30 million (£25.2 million) to sign the Brazilian but Manchester City were demanding a fee north of €50 million (£42 million) to sell their goalkeeper extraordinaire.
Ederson’s future remains unclear — considering Romano had also stated that his move to Al-Nassr had been agreed.

Al-Nassr now looking to sign fellow Brazilian goalkeeper instead of Ederson
The 30-year-old would be hoping that his future is resolved as soon as possible — with both the Premier League and the Saudi Pro League set to begin in August.
For a goalkeeper in particular, it is necessary for their mindset to be as clear as possible.
Being a number one for top teams in particular requires goalkeepers to remain proactive and focused at all times — a feat City’s number 31 can safely say he has accomplished in England.
However, this sense of uncertainty around his professional life would not be helping a seemingly cool customer like the six-time Premier League winner in preparing for the new season.
Fabrizio Romano has now revealed that Al-Nassr are looking to sign Athletico Paranaense goalkeeper Bento instead of Ederson — who they regard as “one of the main names now” in their shortlist.
After Manchester City’s request for €60 million (£50.4 million) after the Saudi Arabian club submitted a €30 million (£25.2 million) to sign the former Benfica number one, the status of the move has been described as “currently off” by Romano.
Man City should prioritise new Ederson contract after Bento update
Now that Al-Nassr have shifted their attention towards signing Bento, Manchester City should be looking to convince the treble-winner — described as “top” by Jude Bellingham — to stay at the club and tie him down to a new contract.
Ederson only has two years left on his current deal.
As a result, even if the six-time Premier League winner does decide to stay put at the Etihad Stadium next season, his future will remain uncertain with one year left on his contract.
If Manchester City can manage to persuade Ederson to commit his long-term future at the club, that will be one of their best pieces of business this summer.
