Trent Alexander-Arnold was one of the biggest talking points from the Premier League this weekend.
The right-back received boos when entering the field against Arsenal on Sunday as the Anfield crowd expressed their displeasure with the defender deciding to leave the Merseyside club at the end of the season to join Real Madrid.
The last nine years have seen the full-back reach the top of the sport, with the 26-year-old winning everything at Liverpool during the Jurgen Klopp era.
Man City’s Kyle Walker will be one man happy to see Alexander-Arnold moving to Spain, as the Reds defender is in the debate with the 34-year-old when it comes to the best right-back to ever play in the Premier League.
According to former Man City star, Michael Brown, the Manchester club have a situation similar to Alexander-Arnold’s, however, it is playing out differently.

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Kevin De Bruyne’s situations are similar
Kevin De Bruyne is set to leave Man City at the end of the season upon the expiration of his contract after spending the last 10 years at the Etihad Stadium.
Speaking about Alexander-Arnold’s situation, BBC pundit Michael Brown has stated that the Liverpool star’s situation is the same as De Bruyne’s, as both have run their course at their current clubs, suggesting that it is the right time for both to leave.
“They’ve (Liverpool) got a nice replacement straightaway (Conor Bradley), you don’t sing that,” Brown said on Football Daily’s Premier League review with Rick Edwards.
“It should be all about Trent today, fantastic, brilliant, it’d be sad to see you go, other people get farewell banners, and like the situation with Kevin De Bruyne leaving Manchester City, it happens, it runs its term. I can’t actually believe supporters are doing this.”

Although both cases have similarities, there are big differences. Man City fans do not mind De Bruyne leaving as the midfielder is past his best, and it seems like the right time to part ways with the Belgian legend
As for Liverpool fans, they are seeing one of the best right-backs in the world depart for free on his terms, which will hurt a lot more.
Either way, the 26-year-old deserves a proper send-off for what he has done for the Merseyside club, which is exactly what Man City are planning for De Bruyne.

How Man City plan to celebrate Kevin De Bruyne’s career
It looks like the next chapter of De Bruyne’s career will take place with Chicago Fire as the MLS side are very keen to bring the 33-year-old to America, although European clubs cannot be ruled out yet.
The Belgian’s last game at the Etihad Stadium will take place on Tuesday, 20 May against Bournemouth, and the contest is set to be all about the legendary midfielder, although Pep Guardiola’s men have a job to do in order to secure Champions League football for next season.

Man City are planning to host a post-match presentation with De Bruyne, which will allow fans the chance to hear from the club legend one final time as he addresses the crowd inside the Etihad.
This event will likely be very similar to that seen with Jurgen Klopp when he left Liverpool last summer, although the best goodbye De Bruyne could give City supporters is lifting the FA Cup this weekend.
