Kevin De Bruyne’s legendary career at Manchester City is coming to an end.
The Belgian joined the Manchester club in 2015 as part of a £55m deal with Wolfsburg and having failed to impress with Chelsea in the Premier League, nobody expected the career the midfielder would go on to have at the Etihad Stadium.
De Bruyne is considered the best player in Man City’s history by many of his peers and when it comes to the Premier League as a whole, many would include the 33-year-old in their best 11, while Wayne Rooney thinks the City superstar is better than Steven Gerrard was.
Having reached the FA Cup final, Man City’s final home game of the season against Bournemouth has now been confirmed to take place on Tuesday, 20 May, with kick-off at 20:00. As a result, plans for De Bruyne’s farewell have now been put in place.

Man City confirm plans for Kevin De Bruyne farewell
De Bruyne will leave Man City at the end of the season having spent the last 10 years of his career with the Manchester club.
The Belgian star has so far made 417 appearances for City, providing 107 goals and 177 assists during his time at the Etihad, while also winning every trophy on offer.
Man City fans will be very keen to show their appreciation to the superstar during their last home game of the season and the club have now confirmed their plans.
ManCity.com have said that after their game with Bournemouth on 20 May there will be a post-match presentation with De Bruyne, which will allow fans the chance to hear from the legend one final time as he addresses the crowd inside the Etihad.
This event will likely be very similar to that seen with Jurgen Klopp when he left Liverpool last summer, although the best goodbye De Bruyne could give City supporters is lifting the FA Cup in two weeks.

What’s the latest on Kevin De Bruyne’s future
Fabrizio Romano recently stated that Man City will not perform a U-turn on Kevin De Bruyne and that his career at the Etihad will come to an end this season.
The most likely destination for the midfielder is MLS, with De Bruyne showing interest in a move to Chicago Fire, who are pushing to bring the Belgian superstar to America.
Inter Miami is another possible destination for the Man City star and a move to The Herons could be legendary as the 33-year-old would get to line up beside Lionel Messi, which would give the team a very strong chance of winning the MLS this season.
The midfielder’s future will become clearer in the coming weeks but for now, the City superstar will be fully focussed on winning the FA Cup and helping the Manchester club secure Champions League football for next season.
