Manchester City have some key decisions to make regarding outgoings over the coming weeks.
James McAtee is the main focus at present, given the interest in the 22-year-old, but the Manchester club may have to reduce their £40m asking price if they are to sell the Englishman.
Other big decisions will come regarding loan deals. Jahmai Simpson-Pusey is set to join Celtic, while Man City fans are not happy about Vitor Reis leaving the Premier League club for Girona ahead of the 25/26 season.
Another top talent amongst Pep Guardiola’s ranks was also expected to gain experience elsewhere over the next 12 months; however, Man City are not fully sure if this is the right decision.

Man City unsure about loaning out Claudio Echeverri
There has been a lot of talk around the future of Claudio Echeverri as the Argentine star is tipped to be a huge player in the world of football in the future.
It was reported this week that Roma are interested in signing Echeverri on loan for the upcoming season, which followed interest in the Man City star from Girona.
According to The Athletic, the La Liga club would love to have the midfielder as part of their squad for the 25/26 campaign; however, Man City are not fully sure if a loan move is best for the 19-year-old.
“Echeverri is also 19 but represents a different case. Guardiola is a huge admirer and saw fit to bring Echeverri on for his debut in the FA Cup final just months after arriving from Argentina,” Jordan Campbell wrote.
“Girona would love to have him, while Roma have made a case for a year in Italy, but City are deliberating whether it would be better to keep him in-house to learn from the manager and other forwards such as Erling Haaland and Omar Marmoush.”
This is not an easy decision to make, but it always seems best for a young talent to be playing regularly, which is something Man City cannot offer the Argentine.

Ajax are not an option for Sverre Nypan
Unlike Echeverri’s case, Man City are certain about loaning Sverre Nypan out this summer as the Norwegian star is not ready for English football, having joined the Premier League giants from Rosenborg this summer.
Ajax were believed to be an option for the 18-year-old ahead of the upcoming season, but according to The Athletic, that move is no longer on the cards for the midfielder.

As many as eight European clubs are interested in signing Nypan; therefore, this is not a big blow for the youngster’s future.
It remains to be seen which of these make a concrete proposal for the Norwegian star, as they will be getting a top talent for a season, with Man City looking to build the youngster into a future superstar.
