Jamal Musiala opened the scoring in Germany’s latest emphatic 7-0 victory against Bosnia and Herzegovina in the UEFA Nations League.
Musiala, who has been linked with a move to Manchester City for a number of months is having a brilliant season for Bayern Munich as well.

In September, Fabrizio Romano claimed Manchester City rate Musiala very highly and if he was on the market in the summer, they would be one of the many clubs who would try to sign him.
The German international’s future at Bayern has been under the microscope for a while — given that his contract runs out in 2026.
It was also claimed that Pep Guardiola is a huge fan of Musiala and Manchester City were believed to be in the market to sign such big names to convince their legendary market to extend his contract.
A claim surfaced in October that Manchester City expect Guardiola to extend his contract — which could indicate that the club have promised him that they will make moves for such high-profile names.

Musiala hints he will decide Bayern future during winter break
Despite just being 21, the youngster has shown season after season that he is one of Europe’s best attacking midfielders.
In September, it was revealed that Manchester City were tracking Musiala and were set to for the remainder of the 2024/2025 season.
After Germany’s statement win, Musiala hinted during an interview with RND that he intends to decide his future during the winter break that is afforded to Bundesliga sides in December.
“At the moment, I’m concentrating on the games with the national team and FC Bayern. I know that a lot of eyes are on my situation but I’m trying to put as little pressure on myself as possible. It’s important for me to stay fit and perform to my best until I have a bit of time to calm down. Then I can take time to think about everything. I think we’ll know more during the winter break.”
It was reported in October that Musiala could extend his contract at Bayern until either 2029 or 2030. The former Chelsea academy graduate also confirmed via The Athletic at the end of the month that he was “happy” at Bayern and stated that he was in contract talks with the club.
The highly-rated dribbler’s latest revelation could suggest that he has made up his mind about staying at the Allianz Arena for a few more years.
The sought-after midfielder has plenty of admirers, including former Manchester City stalwarts. Aymeric Laporte described Musiala as “different class” ahead of Spain’s 2-1 win against Germany in the quarter-finals of Euro 2024.
Leroy Sane tipped Musiala for the Ballon d’Or as well.
What Ilkay Gundogan said about Jamal Musiala could disappoint Man City fans
During Euro 2024, Ilkay Gundogan admitted that Musiala was Germany’s most technically gifted player.
Gundogan said: “On a technical level, he is the best player we have right now.”
“I could talk about Jamal and the Ballon d’Or right now in the future, but I don’t want to put pressure on him. He knows what he’s capable of, and so does our team and our coach.”
“I also like it a lot as a human being. He’s humble and a very nice guy. I can only say positive things about him.”
Considering Germany’s team featured technicians of the ilk of Gundogan himself, Toni Kroos, Joshua Kimmich and Florian Wirtz to name a few, the Manchester City midfielder’s revelation indicates how talented his countryman is.
But it seems like Musiala is likely to sign a new deal at Bayern, much to the disappointment of Manchester City supporters as even their legendary midfielder feels he is well and truly the real deal.
